Egypt Rally Cup 2010

The Egyptian Federation for Motor Sports in collaboration with the Automobile and Touring Club of Egypt are holding the annual Egypt Rally Cup 2010 from 5 March to 7 March in Elgouna.

This will be a 3 day rally scheduled to be held as follows:

Egypt Rally Cup 2010 + Championship Calendar

The season is about to start. The federation board has approved the following agenda and regulations. Pls pass the information on to anybody not on the list.

The Egypt Rally Championship 2010 season is composed of 4 races:
1- Egypt Rally Cup 5-7 March.
2- Pharaons Rally in October.
3- Egypt Desert Challenge in first half of November.

General Notes:
- Pharaons points are multiplied by 3. Points are taken on overall ranking.
- A minimum of 2 rallies is necessary to qualify for the championship.

School starts on Sunday

The first session of the rally school will be this coming Sunday 15th at the automobile club at 7 pm. If you have not signed up yet, pls try to do so before then.

Rally School Details and Applications

The rally school is back. After the success of the last school and the impressive results of its graduates in both the local rallies and the Pharaohs rally, we are very much excited about its potential and continuation.

Egypt Desert Challenge 2009

The Egyptian Federation for Motor Sports in collaboration with the Automobile and Touring Club of Egypt are holding the first annual Egypt Desert Challenge. This will be a 3 day rally scheduled to be held from the 30th of April to the 2nd of May 2009. Some of the features are longer technically demanding stages, a modified car category and a standard car category, doctor cars on track, and lots and lots of dune crossings... Pls start preparing your cars. Again, all are welcome including foreign residents. The registration applications are attached along with costing and fees.

Egypt Rally Cup 2009

The Egyptian Federation for Motor Sports, in collaboration with the Egyptian Automobile Club, recently organized Egypt's first official rally held on the nation’s soil. The rally was held to promote the role of the federation and to highlight its underlying goals in promoting a national team, in addition to establishing awareness both internally and externally. The rally driver, Azam El Farouky, won first place after a fierce competition in which Ahmed El Sergany achieved a close second place position with a difference of less than one minute.
